The Origins of Jane to Georgette
Jane to Georgette was born out of a genuine love for Regency romances, especially those written by Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer. Ever since I saw, at the tender age of ten, my first glimpse of this world through the BBC mini-series of Pride and Prejudice, I was hooked. The language, the wit, the characters, the world; it’s everything I like in a good book, tv show or movie. When I was fourteen I started reading the worn copies of Georgette Heyer’s Regency romances that my mother and sisters had read and re-read before me. Now I study Regency and Victorian fiction at a tertiary level. Jane to Georgette is my way of expressing my love and fascination for the genre and writing that has been so prevalent in my literary life.
To know about Jane to Georgette is to know about me, really.

Sense and Sensibility
My name is Eleanor Turner and I started Jane to Georgette as a side product of my life. I’m studying English Lit at the University of Sydney and in between reading Austen and Heyer, I like to travel my ass off. I also work a ton and have a background in publishing and editing. Please feel free to contact me via the information below. I’m always looking for interesting partnerships, so if you have some products or content you might think Jane to Georgette readers would love, be sure to give me a shout.
